Do it yourself

Have you ever bought something at IKEA and decided to assemble it on your own? Well, I did that once with a row of drawers and I wouldn't do it again. Took ages! And it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.

Having said that, I've spent hours slogging away trying to replace dead grass in my garden. It's really hard work and you can't just lay it down. You need to make sure it fits round the edges so I had to cut exact shapes going round curves and filling in the gaps.

It's quite fun. I've never done this before. I wanted to give it a shot. I didn't realise I was at it the whole day so my whole body is now aching *groan* It takes a lot out of you.

My pugs were just curious spectators throughout the day looking confused (hang on, they ALWAYS look confused haha) probably wondering why I was uprooting the whole garden! Mummy was trying to make their home look better init ;)
