Years ago, I went to an audition for Kopitiam, the sitcom. I thought it was to guest as someone's girlfriend. Turns out, they were looking for a bitchy lawyer to replace Lina Teoh's character on the main cast. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I had only done a movie in Singapore where I was pretty 'sweet' but i gave it my best shot.
Well, I didn't expect it but I got the part! In this particular scene, I get into a catfight with the shampoo girl ;) almost ripped her hairband off haha

I don't think it's that funny though (never understand why there are so many "laughs" @ the background...) but still it's a nice cat fight between 2 stevie girl wannabes...
i followed the series..even though at that moment my english was quite horrible..(i think my current english is a bit improved now)..i didn't really understand what all the characters were saying..but i enjoyed it..and ur part, honestly, that is the first time i really saw u and started to like u..*blush*..i think i can still remember that catfight..:P

well, one could say about kopitiam.
it is the first series which really drawn me to speak in english without any hesitation although my accent really like macam an over-british...lol
hey Jojo, just for the record, kopitiam is indeed my most fav. local sitcom ever... and i loved the opening theme song...
anyway, i followed the series and then got to know you. at first i didn't like your character at all.. yeah.. she was quite bitchy and..correct me if i'm wrong, she's also whined alot isn't she?
Anyway, i forgot any cat fight scenes but years later after the series ended, i saw you hosting some other programs and then saw the "real" side of you... wow.. u're such a sweet sweet girls..
So thinking back, you did really fit the role quite well, she's quite convincing.. hahahhaa..

ah... Kopitiam.... great memories of that show. I think that time was also about the time where most of the young cast just got their break into the acting world.
