Time waits for no man...or woman!

I was just looking at my clock and I decided to record this. And looking at the time now, I'm gonna have to hit the sack. I'm supposed to have "green eyes" for a coloured contact lens launch in the morning. I'm really hoping I'm going to be able to get them on without crying coz when I was at the shop the the other day trying it out for the first time, the shop had to get their tissue boxes out. I was hopeless.

I kept trying to keep my eye open but every time the lens was about to touch my eyeball, by reflex, I let go and closed my eye. I found the thought quite scary of putting something on your eyeball but I was determined to do it. How hard can it be I figured? Oh boyyyy...the lady had to do one eye for me first after my failed attempts so I would see how easy it was. So there I was with one brown eye and one green. I kept telling myself that "I can do this. I WILL get this done" I managed in the end. Hooray!!! It made my eyes look bigger. Really interesting. I know that wearing contact lenses is something that people round the world do every day but I'm a bit nervous knowing I have to wake up and put them in myself for this Freshkon launch *groan* Just not used to it la. Wish me luck!! At least I have the tissue box on stand by :)

It is funny how as humans we can never be satisfied with what we have. As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side. Those that are blond want to be dark haired. Those that are fair want to be tanned and also vice versa. Those with green eyes wants blue eyes.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....

Lol, im using Freshkon contacts too. The 1st time wearing them took me about 30 minutes =.= Its bigger than normal lenses therefore harder to put them on.

Btw, they have coloured ones now? (other than the black and hazel brown)

Don't you think you are getting to be a 'mushy' philosopher over elapsed time?

True, time ticks by. Once you reach 50,it virtually gallops and all your beauty features will fade away faster than the morning dew.

But I think you are living your life right-by putting more life into it.

Keep it up!

So people can put contact lens in the morning even the night before they havent been sleeping well.. well I can never do so. So I need to opt to daily lens to save , as in 1 month probably i wear less than 10 times? Haha ~ at night become cat woman lol

If I hear or see anyone mentioning "carpe diem" just another time, it'd be enough to make me want to strangle the pug.
